It's my week as a Poppydesign team member to post project up on our facebook page. Today I want to share I card I made with the "Curiosity" Collection from Poppydesign..
I do have to say I've found "my" place with cards.. I really like to do mixed media cards. So much fun:)
I've used Poppydesign "Curiosity" cards (6x4" and 2x2") and washitape, pearls and clip. The heart is an old Heidi Swapp and some flowers. The birds are also stamps from Poppydesign. The tittle "happy Birthday" is from Doodlebug.
I'm joing in a couple of challenges with this card.
New layout again today! I'm soo on a roll here.. My husband let me enjoy the sunday in my craft room and I got loads done.. I made 2 layouts and 2 cards.. This is the first layout. DT project for Poppydesign. I'm also joining in the Berry71bleu challenge this month :)
Berry71bleu has a lovely moodboard this month.. Let's take a look at it:
This is my take:
I've created a mixed media page.. witch I love to make. I've used poppydesign papers, embellishments, stamps and washi-tapes to create my page, I really do love beening part of the Poppygirls.. They are a special bunch of girls. I also used flowers, LOVE to play with flowers. Also deepley madly love my boys of course. :) Loads of stuff I love on my page :)
I do have to say I love the color combo I've used as well.. Can't go wrong teal, yellow and black! :) The papers I've used are from a Poppydesign Collection called "Drawings". This has to be my favorite of the collections that came out this winter :)
You can find all the new Poppydesign stuff here. Thanks for stopping by me today! I'd love to hear what you think! :) Have a creative evening!
Oh yes! It's Saturday, the sun is shining and it's my Marion Smith Designs Saturday! I have made a layout I'd like to share today! :)
I loved making this layout.. it just kinda happend. Hahaha.. I got loads of inspiration for Marion's frame paper.. These papers is from the "Motley" collection..
I've used junque and gem roses, gears and a little airballon.. I've played with Blue Fern Studio Chipboar, embossing powders.. Had A Blast making it :)
Did you know that you actually can emboss metall pieces? You do it the same way as you emboss on paper ,witch by the way I did loads on my page. Just put the metall piece on the embossing pillow, add the powder and heat! But be careful, the metall gets real hot so make sure you don't burn your fingers :) This little metall gear used to be bright silver.
The white polka dots is a stamp from 3rd Eye and they are all embossed on..
Thank you for stopping by me today! Leave me a comment and I'll leave on back! :) Have a fantasticly create saturday! :)
Another layout on my blog today.. Joining in on yet a challenge.. Really living up to my new years resolutions this year!! haha :)
I'm joining in two challenges this time. These are Northstar Stamps (Norwegain Blog) and their bingo board and I've used UmWow Studio's Awesome sketch to create my layout. This is the sketch:
This is my take on the sketch:
I flipped the sketch, and I don't know if this is ok or not, because I didn't find anything in the rules about it at UmWow studios. Anyways I've used the thistle chipboard piece for my layout. Papers are from 7dots Studio. The tittle: "Du gir meg glede" means: "you bring me joy" :)
As for the Northstar Challenge bingo board I've used: Buttons, Text stamp and pearls.
Here's the bingo board:
Hopefully I've done it correctly for both challenges! :) Thanks for stopping by me today love to year from you :)
I frequently stalk the 7dots Studio blog and I came over this months challenge. I loved the theme of it, so I actually made something for it! :)
The challenge is Appreciating the little things.. And it's open for one more day! So If you'd like to make something.. Huuurrrrryy!! LOL :)
This is my take on this challenge.
I've used papers from the "Unknown Destiation" Collection and some scraps from other collections I had laying arround. :) I love the tag sheets from7dots and I'm kinda sad I've run out of many of them :(
My layout is about me and my hubby and that fact that he still holds my hand when we watch movies or walk outside after 13 + years.. Love him dearly for that :)
I've used chipboards from Wyzinaka, flowers from Prima, Papirdesign and Wild Orchid. Loads of string and Metal signs from Prima. Also threw in some pearls.
Thanks for stopping by me today! Love to hear from you :)
I haven't entered in a challenge for ages! But this last weekend I was at a crop in Rensvik, Kristiansund and I actually made some layouts for challenges not just for DT work! Love crops.. I always get loads done. :)
Us Poppygirls are kicking this new year off with some new creations with all brand new Poppydesign stuff. I made a layout I want to share with you! :)
Brand new paperline from Poppydesign - Vibeke Spigseth called Drawings. I just had to make a sleepy layout with this paper. Also just some of the project life cards and some paper pieces from the Geometry pad. You can find all the new goodies here!
I also added some manor house creations flowers and some curregated chipboard pieces. The "baby" word is from Wycinaka and the love key I got in one of my Polish kit club kits! :) Love my little baby on this picture!

Yes it Saturday and Marion Smith Designs day.. I'm now going to post everyother saturday projects filled with Marion Smith Design products starting with this saturday. This time I have a layout to share with you.
I've played with pink!! not often I do that since I only have boys to scrap for myself. I've used papers from the "Garment District" line and the "Mad Tea Party" 6x6" Paper Pad.
I used a bit of gesso on the busy background and used cut outs from the "Garment District" line including some 6x6" papers from the "Mad Tea Party" line to put together some layers behind the photo. I also used some of the junque ane gems to decorate!
I'm actually quite happy with this layout. Would love to hear your opinion! :) Thanks for stopping by and leave me a comment and I'll leave one back! :)
